About Troov on the Move

Troov on the Move is a series of books in the children's picture book genre. Trevor, also known as Troov, is a nap-loving, snack-eating, accessory-wearing French Bulldog who dreams of travelling the world. He loves sharing facts with his friends as he travels around the cities. His first stop is Paris, his native city. Troov and his narrator friend travel around each place showing you landmarks. Troov would love to join you when you have the opportunity to explore these landmarks yourself.

Troov wants to make his moves, and you're all invited to join him, so please, stay a while and explore.

Fun fact: Did you know that the Christmas tree tradition originated in Germany? Way back in the 16th century, that’s a long time ago!! And we still to this day continue the tradition of decorating trees for the holidays! Isn’t that fun? I’d love to explore Germany with you all some day! 😍

Fun fact: Did you know the word ‘Xmas’ comes from the Greek letter Χ, which is the first letter of the Greek word Christós! This translates to Christ! So when you take X = as Christ and add mas to it, you get Xmas! Isn’t that neat? Maybe we should visit Greece one day so we can learn more!

I’m just jumping on here to wish Troov, my boy, a happy 8th birthday!! 🎉🎂🐶
He’s the light of my life, and it’s never a boring day when he’s around! 🥰
He’s not only the star of Troov on the Move, he’s the star of the family! He knows when we need a cuddle, he makes some of the silliest faces when we’re sad, and makes us smile when we need cheering up!

I’m here to bring you the final side by side illustration! 😭 It’s gone so fast, I’m so sad that it is over!
But hey, that means that soon, we can start a new series! 👀 So do keep an eye on this page, and keep sharing far and wide!! I’m forever grateful for all that you do for Troov! ❤️

Anyway, onto the post!
This one, is very different to our usual ones! This one, well, it’s a map! 🗺️
Katie was showing us where we were going without having to tell us!
She did a pretty good job with the map if I say so myself, and so did the new designers!! I look like I’m flying across an atlas! (If you didn’t know what an Atlas is, it’s a book of maps!)
My own official airline hasn’t changed, Troov Airlines is still going strong! ✈️ Still taking me to all the places I want to explore!

I’ve absolutely loved sharing this adventure with you my friends! Katie has found it to be a very humbling experience but she has loved it! Being able to see the development from the beginning to the end has been wonderful to her!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this series! But I do have one question for you before we finish up!

Hey friends, it’s Troov!! 👋🐶

Turns out I’m just as bad as Katie! Even I forgot to post yesterday! 🙄😂
But hey, I’m here now and ready to share the last but one side by side post! 😭
Which means we will finish this series this week! 🥲

I’ve had so much fun sharing these posts with you over the last few months! Katie has found it very humbling, but she did tell me she enjoyed it too!

But alas, onto the penultimate (I know, fancy word right? Katie taught it to me, it means last but one) post!

This one is interesting! Lots of colours in the new illustration compared to Katie’s! But the same thing is being portrayed! Only thing that’s missing in Katie’s is the cheese smell, I could be following anything in her illustration! I could be following the smell of a croissant for all we know!! But in the new illustration, it’s obvious what my nose is following! 🧀
But hey, still a pretty fun side by side to look at!! 😍

I will be posting the final illustration on Saturday! A nice start to the weekend! So keep an eye out for that!!

Since Katie forgot to post two of these last week (I can’t trust her with anything 🙄) I will be taking matters into my own hands and posting the final three side by side illustrations this week! 🎉

You won’t need to wait any longer to see the final pages, they will be with you soon!

But whilst you wait, take a look at this one!

First of all, Katie forgot to put any cheese for me in hers! How could she forget? 🥲 It’s lucky the designers over at Pegasus know that I love cheese! 😂 (I am joking Katie, please keep giving me cheese 🧀)
And secondly, the colours in the second one are a lot more fun and bright, but hey, that’s okay! Both tell their own story in their own little way!

The final two will be posted on Wednesday and Friday this week, so keep an eye out!

This one is pretty cool, I mean look at the detail on the Sacré-Cœur! 😍

This is the highest point in Paris so the views from up here are incredible, and no I’m not talking about me! 😂 Unless! 👀

Katie’s illustration isn’t too bad, either! She got the details of the building down, maybe not so much me, but she tried! 😳
My glow up is pretty cool though! 😍
It’s crazy what a little bit of shading can do to an illustration!

I believe we are about half way through this series so far!!
I don’t want it to end! So I’ll be posting them a little less frequently so we can really enjoy these illustrations! 🎉

Katie told me she’s a little embarrassed about this one! 😂 I can’t work out why!!
I’m pretty sure the cupboard is meant to be sloping! 😂

But my glow up looks pretty great! I’m always doing the washing in this place! Gotta keep my beret nice and clean!
But I will not be washing a red beret with anything white! 😳 I don’t think Katie will appreciate her white shirt being pink!

P.s. I believe Katie will be attempting to create a website for me pretty soon! She told me she wants a place to post all my photos, the photos you guys send me, and a few short stories about me! She’s also started making a Troov word search! That would be great, if I could read!
But she wanted me to tell you to keep an eye out! 👀
